This picture was taken at the Cannibis College in the Red Light District. Those are just four plants. They look more like bushes if you ask me. Aparently even with their very liberal laws they are only allowed to have four plants per house. I'm curious how they keep all the shops supplied. There must be a large number of people growing this stuff in the city. Either that or some people are breaking the four plant rule as every shop that sold this stuff was packed with customers, and there were hundreds of shops. Most of the customers seemed to be tourists though, many of which were Americans. I read that something like less than 5% of the Dutch even use the stuff. In fact Americans were some of the largest consumers. Hey, maybe tolerance works?!
